FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Following his fourth 300-yard passing performance of the season and a dramatic, unbelievable, improbable 20-point comeback against Boise State, Colorado State redshirt freshman quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi was recognized by four outlets for his play on Monday.
Â
Within the league, Fowler-Nicolosi earned his second Mountain West Freshman of the Week honors from the league. He joins Hawaii's Pofele Ashlock as the only two-time winners of the award so far in 2023.

Three national outlets also recognized Fowler-Nicolosi for his play, including two for the nation's top quarterbacks, earning Manning Award Star of the Week recognition as well as the Davey O'Brien Award's "Great 8" list. The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, which recognizes outstanding play for players who are from or played high school football in Texas, also awarded Fowler-Nicolosi with a spot on their weekly list.
