The Rams’ kicker accounted for 12 of CSU’s 30 points in the victory over Nevada.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – For the first time in his Colorado State career, kicker Jordan Noyes has been named the Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday.

Noyes accounted for 12 of Colorado State's 30 points over the weekend in a 30-20 victory over Nevada to secure the Rams' fifth win of the season – the most since 2017. He was a perfect 3-for-3 from 30, 42, and 31 yards in field goal tries and converted all three extra points. On the year, Noyes is 14-of-17 in field goal tries and 28-of-28 in PATs, leading the Rams with 70 total points. His 28 PAT makes are tied for 10th in a season in school history and his 82.4 conversion percentage on field goals is currently tied for sixth-best. One more successful field goal make will see him enter the program's top 10 for a season.

He is the second Ram to earn weekly honors from the league, joining quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi who is a two-time freshman of the week, and he is the first Ram to earn the special teams honor since Cayden Camper did so twice in 2021.

Noyes and the Rams (5-6, 3-4 MW) head to Hawaii this week for their final game of the 2023 regular season. With bowl eligibility in sight for the first time since 2017, the Rams and head coach Jay Norvell have already accomplished much this season with plenty more on the horizon.
