FORT COLLINS – Coach Ryun Williams and the women's basketball program announced the signing of five high school student-athletes to continue their basketball careers at Colorado State on Wednesday during National Signing Day. The Rams welcome student-athletes from Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois and Colorado.

"This class is a bunch of winners that have very high character and are very good students," said Williams. "They all come from amazing families, winning high schools and elite AAU programs. They are hungry and love the game of basketball. That's what excites me about this group. They are going to be Stalwart Rams and take pride in wearing the Green and Gold. We're excited to get them here and to coach 'em up."

Everyone seemed so genuine and kind so I knew that even though I would be far from home, I would gain a second family. The gorgeous campus and views of the mountains set Colorado State apart from any other option."

HC Williams: "Kloe is an incredible leader and winner. Ms. Basketball runner-up in Illinois. She plays the game with incredible intensity and is very productive on the basketball floor. Murphy on Colorado State: The reason why I chose Colorado State was mainly because of the relationships I built with all the coaches, especially Coach Williams. I felt like they were very invested in me, and I loved the way Coach Williams told me exactly how I would fit into the program. Colorado State also has a very good academic program and with me wanting to study Pre-Med it was easily the best fit. Fort Collins is an awesome town with many things to do as well as a gorgeous area to be for four years while playing basketball."

HC Williams: "One of Nebraska's best, McKenna is a high-level player and incredible shooter. She is as tough as they come, and she just knows how to win! She is smart, has an elite IQ and really knows how to impact the game. She is a player that has a really good feel on how to score at all three levels on the floor."
