FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State graduate Cailyn Crocker has been named to the Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Communicators the organization announced this week.
Â
Crocker is a graduate transfer from Cal working on her Sports Management masters, but will have two years of eligibility remaining following the season. On the court this season, she is shooting 47.6 percent from the floor, including nearly 40 percent from 3-point range and 80 percent from the free-throw line. She is also second on the team averaging 11.3 points per game and third in rebounds with a 3.7 average.
Â
For the Rams, Crocker represents the ninth women's basketball student-athlete to collect the award and the 11th overall women's basketball honor with Lindsay Thomas (2004, 2006) and Teresa James (1993, 1994) achieving it twice. The other Rams that Crocker joins in this exclusive group include Lore Devos (2021), Gritt Ryder (2015), Caitlin Duffy (2014), Ashley Augspurger (2003), Shannon Strecker (2003), and Kathy Lightfoot (1981).
