Stevens Named to All-Mountain West Media First Team

Isaiah Stevens finds his name on the Mountain West Media’s All-Conference team
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Senior guard Isaiah Stevens has earned a spot on the Mountain West Media's All-Conference team for the fourth time in his career, announced on Monday. The floor general earned first team honors for the first time in his career.
Stevens finished conference play as the fourth leading scorer and leader in assists with marks of 17.8 ppg and 7.1 apg.
In the final game of the year, he set the program record for single-game assists with 13 after twice matching it with 12 during conference play The guard from Allen, Texas scored in double figures all 18 games, with a season-high 33 in the Rams' comeback win at UNLV in January.
This is Stevens's fourth time making the media's All-Mountain West team placing on the second team as a sophomore and junior while being an honorable mention as a freshman. He did receive one vote for Player of the Year as the award went to Omari Moore of San Jose State. Only two other players received votes for Player of the Year besides Moore and Stevens.
Stevens and the Rams enter the Mountain West Tournament as the No. 8 seed taking on No. 9 seed Fresno State on Wednesday at Noon MT / 11 am PT inside Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
