Bleier Named to PING All-West Region Team

Christoph Bleier earns All-West Region honors
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Sophomore golfer Christoph Bleier earned a spot on the Ping All-West Region team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Bleier becomes the first Ram since 2019-20 to earn a spot.
The Austrian had a strong sophomore campaign helping CSU earn their first trip to the NCAA Championship in 12 years. He earned the program's first medalist honor at an NCAA Regional when he was co-medalist at the Auburn Regional.
Twice this year he was a co-medalist, also earning it at the Mountain West Championship, falling in a playoff. Overall, he had four top five finishes and seven top 10s. He finished the 2022-23 season with a stroke average of 71.17, ranking eighth in program history.
Bleier adds the All-District honor to his All-Mountain West team earlier this season. Â
