The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver
FORT COLLINS - Another preseason honor has been announced for Colorado State's All-American candidate wide receiver Tory Horton, and this one might be the most familiar to Rams fans.
On Monday, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club released the 2023 Biletnikoff Award Watch List which featured Horton, making it his third preseason watch list ahead of the 2023 campaign. The Fresno, Calif., native is also on the watch list for the Maxwell Award (nation's best player) and the Paul Hornung Award (most versatile player). He was also the lone representative from the Mountain West on the initial watch list release.
The Biletnikoff Award is no stranger for Ram fans who have seen a plethora of pass catchers appear on the list over the years including Trey McBride, Warren Jackson, Preston Williams, Olabisi Johnson, Michael Gallup, and Rashard Higgins. Higgins was a finalist for the award in 2014, while Gallup was a finalist in 2017.
