Defending ChampionsÂ
Last season the Ram women claimed the MW title for the first time since 2007. Quinn McConnell and Kensey May look to lead the women to back-to-back first place finishes after receiving all-conference honors in the championship just a year ago. On the men's side, Lars Mitchel seeks to capture All-MW honors for the third-straight season, while Michael Mooney looks to earn all-conference honors for the first time since 2022 after missing the entire 2023 season.

Regional RankingsÂ
In the latest edition of the USTFCCCA poll the Ram women catapulted four spots in the rankings up to sixth in the Mountain Region. The men also moved up one spot now being ranked eighth. The next set of rankings will be released after the MW Championships this weekend. Â

Graduates Prepared To PerformÂ
At the Princeton Fall Classic, the Rams were once again led by their graduate seniors. Mitchel, Mooney and Cory Kennedey led the men to a fifth-place finish. Likewise, McConnell and Anna Petr pushed the women into sixth place in a loaded field. Mitchel has finished as the top Ram in all three of his events this season and looks to enter his name as a top competitor at the MW Championships. McConnell and Petr have combined for three top finishes for CSU this season, with McConnell leading the way at the Wyoming Invite and Princeton Fall Classic, and Petr delivering at the Roy Griak Invitational.
