Rams Reach Two Finals at Classic

Team advances in doubles, singles
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The last day of the fall campaign will produce a pair of finals matches for Colorado State's women's tennis team, one each in doubles and singles.

The tandem of Logan Voeks and Viktoryia Zhadzinskaya advanced to the finals of the Black draw with a 6-0 victory over the San Diego duo of Katelyn Vu and Allison Lian, while in singles, Victoria Erechtchenko reached the Silver draw finale by beating Nevada's Doga Akyurek in a straight-sets decision which was a mixed bag. After fighting for a 7-6 (9) win in the opener, she cruised in the second 6-0.

In the only other semifinal for the team, Voeks dropped a 6-4, 7-6 (5) match to Zoe Olmos of the host team. The Rams dropped four other matches in the consolation round.
