Stevens Named to Naismith Midseason Team

CSU guard one of 30 up for Player of the Year
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State men's basketball guard Isaiah Stevens has been named to the 2024 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Midseason Team. He is one of the top 30 players in the nation on the list.
The Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year has lived up to the billing and then some this season. He is averaging 16.1 points, 7.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game as the Rams are 19-6 on the year. He is having the best shooting season of his career, going 48.0% from the field and 46.1% behind the arc.
His 7.4 assists per game rank fourth in the nation and he has the 13th best assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.29. Stevens has recorded four double-doubles on the year, all of the points-assists variety. That ties for the second most points-assists double-doubles in the nation.
Stevens is the first Ram since David Roddy in 2021-22 to earn a spot on the Naismith Midseason Team.
Colorado State returns to action inside Moby Arena on Saturday against Mountain West leader Utah State at 3:30 pm. It is part of a doubleheader with women's basketball hosting Wyoming prior.
