Jones Enters Final Round a Stroke Back

Connor Jones aims for his second medalist honor Wednesday
LA QUINTA, Calif. – Conor Jones enters Wednesday's final round one stroke back of the lead at The Prestige. Jones shot a 3-under, 68 Tuesday to move to 8-under for the tournament. He and two other golfers sit a stroke behind Cecil Belisle of Kansas.
Jones again turned in the best round of the day for CSU recording five birdies and a pair of bogeys for the round.
As a team, Colorado State shot 1-under and sit in eighth place.
Freshman Jake Rodgers shot 1-under on the day, while Jay Pabin was even par.
In the individual tournament, Derek Lekkerkerk is tied for 11th after his 3-under, 69 on Tuesday on the Terra Loga course.
