Colorado State opened the Westbrook Invitational Sunday
PEORIA, Ariz. – Andrea Bergsdottir continued her strong play coming off her first career win two weeks ago. The fifth-year sits tied for sixth through 36 holes at the Westbrook Invitational shooting rounds of 69-68 to be 7-under.
Bergsdottir leads the way for a CSU team in ninth place after day one. The Rams are 10-under for the tournament with eight rounds of par of better as a team.
While Bergsoditter scorched the course with 11 birdies, all four of her teammates are at even-par or better for the tournament. Panchalika Arphamongkol is tied for 39th at 1-under, while Kara Kanehiro, Pemika Arphamongkol and Sofia Torres are all even par.
The Rams will tee off the final round Monday at 8:30 am with a shotgun start on holes 8-10. Live results can be found on GolfStat.
