Colorado State turns in best round of the day
NEW ORLEANS – Colorado State women's golf turned in the best round of the day at the Tulane Classic. The Rams shot a 1-over, 289 on Monday to move from fifth to second on the leaderboard. CSU will start Tuesday's final round two shots back of Missouri.
Freshman Kara Kaneshiro had the best round for the team with a 4-under, 68. She just missed out on a bogey-free round with one on the par 4 18th. Before that she recorded five birdies and 12 pars. She moved into a tie for seventh on the individual leaderboard.
Panchalika Arphamongkol was lighting up the course as well with six birdies on the day. She added in four bogeys for a 2-under, 70. She is even for the tournament and tied for third, sitting three shots off the lead.
All 17 teams tee off the final round at 6:30 a.m. with a shotgun start Tuesday. Live results can be found on GolfStat.
