Jay Pabin leads CSU at 3-under through the first two rounds of Lamkin Invite
SAN DIEGO – Colorado State men's golf was unable to find its groove during the first two rounds of the Lamkin San Diego Classic on Monday. CSU finished the 36-holes at 12-over par.
Junior Jay Pabin was the lone Ram below par on the day sitting at 3-under in a tie for 19th. He opened the tournament shooting a 1-under 71 including three birdies and an eagle on the par 5, 14th hole. He shaved a stroke off his round in the afternoon going 2-under recording five birdies.
Christoph Bleier sits at even for the tournament shooting an opening 70 and then a 74 in the afternoon.
The rest of the team struggled as the wind increased during the afternoon round, challenging everyone on the course.
Colorado State will look to close the tournament on a positive note when they tee off Tuesday off the 10th hole starting at 9:45 a.m. MT with LSU, Hawaii and Santa Clara. Live results of the round can be found on GolfStat.
