Colorado State men’s basketball welcomes 10 newcomers to 2024-25 team

FORT COLLINS – Niko Medved finalized the 2024-25 men's basketball with the addition of six transfers. The group has plenty of experience having played in 377 games. This group along with the five returners, led by third-team All-Mountain West selection Nique Clifford, and four freshmen signed in November will make up the 2024-25 team.
 
Bowen Born | Guard | 5-11 | 175 | Norwalk, Iowa | Northern Iowa
Former Missouri Valley Conference Freshman and Sixth Man of the Year Bowen Born comes to Fort Collins for his final year of eligibility. He brings plenty of experience with him playing in 118 games, starting 89 while averaging 12.6 points per game. The Iowa native scored 13.3 points per game last year the UNI draining 54 threes for the Panthers. He was the team's second-leading scorer including a 31 point performance against Toledo in non-conference play.
 
Jaylen Crocker-Johnson | Forward | 6-8 | 230 | San Antonio, Texas | Arkansas Little Rock
The 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year Jaylen Crocker-Johnson joins the Colorado State roster in 2024-25. Crocker-Johnson averaged 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds while shooting 50.4% from the field in his first year at Arkansas Little Rock. He helped Little Rock to the OVC regular season title and spot in the Ro College Basketball Invitational
 
Charlie Dortch | Forward | 6-7 | 235 | Fort Collins, Colo. | Fort Lewis
After spending a season at Fort Lewis College, Charlie Dortch returns to his hometown. The Rocky Mountain graduate redshirted at FLC last year. He was a three-year letterwinner in high school, earning first team all-conference honors as a senior and second team as a junior.
 
Nikola Djapa | Center | 6-11 | 235 | Belgrade, Serbia | Long Island
The Rams add size to the front court with the addition of Nikola Djapa. He comes to CSU with three years of eligibility left transferring in from Long Island. In his lone season with the Sharks, Djapa averaged 6.1 points and 5.6 rebounds off the bench. The Serbian made his collegiate debut against Air Force and had a pair of double-doubles on the year.
 
Ethan Morton | Guard | 6-7 | 215 | Butler, Penn. | Purdue
Ethan Morton brings plenty of experience to Fort Collins having played in 132 games over his four years at Purdue. The Butler, Pennsylvania native was a key reserve for the Boilermakers over his career, including playing 10.0 minutes a game for the 2024 national runners-up. He is known for taking care of the ball with a career assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.66 to go with his ability on the defensive end.
 
Keshawn Williams | Guard | 6-4 | 175 | Chicago Heights, Ill. | Northern Illinois
Keshawn Williams will play his final year of college basketball in the Green and Gold after stops at Tulsa and Northern Illinois. He spent a year at Tulsa and three years at NIU. As a Huskie, he averaged 16.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists. After being named to an All-MAC honorable mention, his 2022-23 season was off to a strong start averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists before suffering a season-ending injury.
