CSU finishes eighth after three rounds at Gold Mountain
BREMERTON, Wash. – Colorado State finished eighth at the NCAA Bremerton Regional, held May 12–14 at Gold Mountain Golf Club. Competing in their fourth consecutive NCAA Regional, the Rams posted rounds of 295–296–290 for a total of 881 (+17), improving by five strokes in the final round.
Bleier Places Fifth
Senior Christoph Bleier led CSU with a three-round total of 210 (-6), placing fifth in the 75-player field. The All-Mountain West selection recorded rounds of 72–70–68 and closed with a bogey-free back nine of 34 on Wednesday. He was one of just six players to finish at six under or better.
Season Overview
The Rams posted a team scoring average of 285.3 across 13 tournaments in 2024–25 and recorded 12 rounds of even par or better. CSU won three tournaments — the Ram Masters Invitational, Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, and Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational — and placed in the top five nine times.
At the Mark Simpson Invitational, CSU set a program record for score to par at 828 (-36). The Rams also recorded a 268 (-20) in the second round of the Mountain West Championship, the second-lowest team round to par in program history.
Senior Contributions
Bleier led the team with a 71.30 scoring average and recorded 10 rounds in the 60s. He earned his second career All-Mountain West honor and was CSU's top finisher in four tournaments. Pabin posted a 72.07 scoring average, ranked second on the team in rounds of par or better (14), and placed fourth at the Mountain West Championship — the best finish of his career.
Both Bleier and Pabin competed in four consecutive NCAA Regionals during their time at Colorado State.
