Forward joins CSU from Montana State.
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State women's basketball has secured the final member of its 2025-26 squad as the Rams landed Montana State transfer Alexis "Lexi" Deden, head coach Ryun Williams announced.
Â
Deden is a 6-foot-2 forward from Missoula, Mont., that will add valuable size and strength to the CSU front court. An experienced player, Deden spent the past five seasons with the Bobcats and played in 119 games including 42 starts.
Â
"We are excited to welcome Lexi to Colorado State," Williams said. "Her intensity, hustle play style and ability to impact a game in a variety of ways is exactly what we need. She is a flat-out winner and competitor and has been an extremely productive player with a lot of college games under her belt. I love the fact that she is hungry to have the best year of her career."
Â
Deden has averaged 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds across her career. Her top statistical season came as a senior in 2023-24 when she averaged 13.8 points and 8.3 rebounds while shooting 43.7% from the field before suffering a season-ending injury six games in. The season prior, Deden started in 22 of 31 games played and averaged 8.5 points on 43.1% shooting to go with 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest.
Â
The sixth-year player will join an experienced Colorado State front court that features redshirt junior Jadyn Fife and transfer senior Maddy Bragg, as well as redshirt freshman Olivia Pawlicki. Season tickets for the 2025-26 campaign are on sale now and can be purchased at CSURams.com/tickets.
