Rams Go Low in Final Round at The Wohali

Colorado State finished sixth in a tough field, including above top league programs

FORT COLLINS – After an opening day on Monday that saw second round team scores soar from 30-40 mph winds, Colorado State men's golf went low in the final 18 holes, finishing sixth overall with a 287-299-282—868 (+16). CSU finished better than the defending Mountain West champs San Diego State and UNLV.
 
Teams finishing above the Rams included (rankings from 2024-25 season) - #28 K State, #54 BYU, #7 Arizona State, New Mexico.
 
Alessandro Trenta led the Rams for the second consecutive tournament, signing a four under-par card in the final round along with Charlie Tucker. Trenta was at the top of the team standings, finishing even through the 36 holes, followed by Tucker who recorded a one-over for the tournament. Both players had great final round, combining for five birdies apiece and just one bogey.
 
Owen Mullen started the week inking a three-under in the opening round with six birdies and a trio of bogeys.
