Rams women's hoops picked to finished fourth
FORT COLLINS – The Pac-12 named two CSU women's basketball players to its 2026-27 impact players list, with junior guards Camryn Runner and Kloe Froebe earning recognition ahead of their first season in the conference. The conference also released its predicted order of finish as voted on by the media pegging the Rams fourth.
Runner joins Colorado State after two productive seasons at Evansville, where she established herself as one of the Missouri Valley Conference's top players. During the 2025-26 Season, she averaged 18.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game while earning All-MVC second team honors. She scored 20 or more points in 13 games and recorded a triple-double against Belmont with 19 points,10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Runner also set Evansville's single-season program records for points (637), assists (185), and free throws made (218).
Froebe returns to Colorado State following a strong sophomore campaign in which she started all 35 games. She averaged 10.7 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while adding 2.4 assists, leading them in rebounding. Froebe recorded three double-doubles and grabbed a career-high 20 rebounds against Air Force. She also earned Mountain West Player of the Week honors in March 2026 after helping Colorado State during the final stretch of the regular season.
Gonzaga, Oregon State and San Diego State were the three teams picked ahead of the Rams in the preseason poll in that order.
The recognition comes as Colorado State prepares for the upcoming season, with Runner's scoring and playmaking ability and Froebe's rebounding and all-around contributions expected to play huge roles for the Rams as they enter their inaugural season in the Pac-12.
Season tickets are currently on sale. The Rams open the season with a doubleheader on Nov. 2, facing Lindenwood prior to the men playing Montana State.
