Murphy moves into outdoor record book
GOLDEN – Colorado State capped off its fourth straight day of competition on Saturday at the Mines Kit Mayer. The event served as a continuation from Wednesday's Mines Mid-Week and Multis due to weather that was anticipated on Friday.Â

- CSU won both sides of the high jump with Anastasia Murphy winning the women's half with a personal best of 1.73-meters/5-feet-8. Murphy now moves into CSU's top 20 all-time with Saturday's performance. Jesse Imemba won the men's competition at 2.06/6-9. Following Imemba was Rhys Travis and Hari Brogan who finished in a tie for second. Â
- Women's Discus finished first through sixth place, headlined by Klaire Kovatch at 57.51/188-8. She was followed by teammates Makayla Long and Jet Van Der Heijden to round out the podium. Â
- The shot put saw the men's side claim second and third place thanks to Leonardo Ramos and Kyle Bigley. Ramos recorded a season best on his journey back from injury with 18.22/59-9.50. Daniel Baroumbaye finished fourth launching a season best at 16.82/55-2.25. The women's side saw Makayla Long and Erin Brown go 1-2 on the day, long won the event with her sixth throw 16.73/54-10.75. Â

- Track and field preps for a huge week ahead, with the Rams competing in four meets across three separate locations. Starting Thursday where Rams will compete at the Bryan Clay Invite and Pacific Coast Invitational. Â
