Colorado State to delight fans with limited-edition Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium memorabilia
FORT COLLINS — As renovation projects continue at both Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium, Colorado State Athletics is unveiling something unprecedented: Fans can own authenticated pieces of history removed directly from the venues that have defined Rams' football, basketball and volleyball.
The pre-sale campaign at CollectCSU.com goes live Wednesday, June 24, and fans can bid on auction items and make immediate purchases. New auction and instant-purchase items will drop throughout the summer and fall.
Since opening in 1966, Moby Arena has been the stage for six decades of Rams Men's and Women's Basketball, including 10 NCAA postseason tournament appearances and a 1988 NIT semifinal run. The arena is also home to women's volleyball, a historic program in the Fort Collins community that boasts 27 conference championships and 77 weeks ranked in the national polls. Moby Arena played host to a record-breaking 57,544 in accumulative attendance during its 50th season as a program in 2025, breaking into the Top 10Â nationally.
Just across campus, Canvas Stadium brought football back to CSU's campus in 2017 for the first time in 50 years, anchored by Sonny Lubick Field — named for the head coach who led the most successful era in program history. Now, select pieces of both venues' history can live in the homes of Rams fans. A portion of proceeds will directly support Colorado State Athletics.
"As we transition to the Pac-12 and introduce new playing surfaces in Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium, it is important to give Ram Country every opportunity to buy a piece of Colorado State's storied past and support the Rams," Director of Athletics John Weber said.
"Ram Legends and Ram Country all across the world have built the foundation for our current students to thrive. The pride in Colorado State University is special, and with this unique collection, Rams and all those who love the Rams have the chance to own a piece of Moby Arena and Canvas Stadium history."Â Â Â Â
Moby Arena's hardwood court has already been removed, and pieces of the arena's signature ram's-horn-patterned floor are available immediately. Canvas Stadium's turf has not yet been removed; items from Sonny Lubick Field will follow later this summer once the new field is installed.
Premium items include:
•  Limited-edition memorabilia made from pieces of of Moby Arena's hardwood court, featuring the arena's signature ram's-horn pattern
•  Limited-edition turf pieces from Sonny Lubick Field in Canvas Stadium [available later this summer]
• Commemorative rings containing fragments of Moby Arena hardwood and Canvas Stadium turf
Inventory is extremely limited. Once an item is gone, it will never be reproduced.
Colorado State is partnering with CollectU, a company that turns renovations into premium memorabilia to engage fans, deliver revenue and keep items out of landfills.
