Ram tight end adds to preseason accolades
FORT COLLINS – Colorado State's Juice Vereen was named to the preseason watch list for the John Mackey Award, which is awarded annually to the best tight end in college football.

Vereen has emerged as a talent to watch amongst a skilled tight end room for CSU as he followed head coach Jim Mora from UConn over the offseason. Vereen played one season at UConn – logging 22 receptions for 310 yards and five touchdowns across 10 games – after beginning his career at North Carolina State.

This adds to the preseason accolades for Vereen, who was also named to the Shriners Children's East-West Bowl preseason top 1,000 in July.
