Rams Push Through day 2 at Bedford Cup

Colorado State looks to finish strong on Sunday
The Rams continued their competition Saturday at the Bedford Cup through tough matches in singles and doubles. Â
After opening 5-4 in singles on Friday, the Rams were looking to build from it and continue playing strong.Â
Diana Lizarazo lost in the semifinals of Bravo bracket but will play in the third-place match Sunday against Texas Tech. Dylann Voeks made it to the consolation final in the Charlie bracket where she will play against Wyoming. Leyla Tozin and Sorcha Caves both fell in their opening round of consolation play in the Alpha bracket. They will look to have one more match Sunday to finish their tournament. Â
All doubles pairs lost in the second round ending their tournament this weekend Â
Head Coach Blake Mosley was happy with the progress the team has made so far: "I'm happy with the way we're competing at this point in the fall. One more day of competition tomorrow to build on what we've learned".Â
Play will begin Sunday starting at 9 a.m. with doubles championship and consolation matches first. That will then be followed up by consolation in singles, then championship singles matches after that. Â
