Colorado State Wraps Up Bedford Cup

A competitive weekend comes to an end
The Rams wrapped up play on Sunday in Colorado Springs, ending a three-day competition against 10 teams from across the country. Â
After a challenging Saturday, Colorado State entered Sunday looking to finish the tournament on a strong note. Â
Diana Lizarazo played in her third-place match where she ultimately fell in straight sets to Texas Tech. Dylan Voeks played in the consolation final where she lost in straight sets to Wyoming. Â
Despite the results, the Rams continued to create chances in a tough field.Â
"We're continuing to create opportunities, but we need to capitalize on them" coach Blake Mosley said. Â

The Bedford Cup gave Colorado State three days of competition and opportunities to gain match experience in the early season.Â
The Rams will now focus on the remainder of the season as they have the ITA regionals in Utah in October. Â
