2020-21 (SENIOR): Played in four events and 12 rounds, averaging 74.00 strokes per round (+2.75 versus par)... Shot a low round of 3-under 69 in the first round of the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate... Best finish in a full event was the Wyoming Desert in a tie for 45th.
2019-20 (JUNIOR): Played in seven events and 19 rounds on the year, including four in the team lineup… Averaged 71.89 strokes per round (+1.00 to par) for the abbreviated season… Had eight rounds of par or better on the year… In full field events, had two top-20 finishes, with the best a tie for 12th at the Saint Mary’s Invitational, helping the Rams to the team title… At Saint Mary’s, finished with a season-best 3-under 210, posting 1-under 70s in each of the three rounds… Also had a tie for 15th at even-par 210 at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, also contributing to another team victory… Shot an even-par 210, including a season-best 2-under 68 in the second round…
2018-19 (SOPHOMORE): Played in nine events and 27 rounds, averaging 73.70 strokes per round (+2.48 to par)… Had four rounds of par or better with two in the 60s… His top full-field finish was a tie for eighth at the Bob Writz Invitational, finishing at 5-over 149… Also had a tie for 22nd at the Ram Masters Invitational at 4-over 214… Was fourth at the Sonoroan Showdown this spring, an individuals-only event in Arizona… Had a 6-under 64 in the second round of the Sonoroan Showdown for his low round of the year… Qualified for the 2019 British Amateur, advancing to match play.

2017-18 (FRESHMAN): Played in nine tournaments, entering the team lineup for the final five events of the season… Finished fourth on the team with a 72.37 scoring average (+1.15 versus par)… Played in three tournaments as an individual in the fall, averaging 72.17 strokes per round (+1.17 versus par)... Had his top finish as a team member at the Oregon Duck Invitational, tying for 14th at 1-over 217… Had a 4-under 68 in the second round of the NCAA Kissimmee Regional and then closed the tournament with an even-par 72, helping the Rams finish seventh... Shot a 3-under 69 in the final round of the ASU Thunderbird Invitational, one of two under-par rounds he posted in the tournament… Shot a season-low 5-under 211 as an individual at the Lamkin Grips San Diego Classic, placing ninth… Posted a 5-under 67 in the final round of the Lamkin Grips event.

HIGH SCHOOL:Â Has extensive international experience, on both the individual and team levels. Ainscough represented England on the national team in the Italian International Championship Nations Cup and Irish Boys Nations Cup along with England vs. Ireland and England vs. Scotland matches... Individually finished second in the 2016 Peter McEvoy Trophy (England Boys Open), totaling a 5-under 279 (73-68-72-66), two shots back of the champion... Was also seventh in the 2015 Scottish Boys and ninth in the MacGregor Cup (under-16 tournaments) as well as reaching the final 32 at the British Boys Amateur Championship after shooting 71 and 75 in stroke play... In 2014 was runner up for the Douglas Johns Trophy... Chose Colorado State over interested schools Arizona, Louisville, Indiana, Memphis, Campbell, VCU, Xavier and James Madison.
