(Indoor): Competed in five meets... Achieved a 60m PR of 8.02 at the Air Force Holiday Open...Her 1:03.42 PR in the 400 meter occurred at Air Force Invitational...Ran a 200m PR at Colorado Invitational with a time of 26.75.
(Outdoor): Competed in seven meets including the Mountain West Championships... Ran a 11.96 100m dash in the prelims of MW, which is 15th in school history and then placed ninth in the finals to just miss out on scoring...A part of the second-place 4x100m relay team that earned eight points for the women's score en route to their second-place team finish...Recorded a 400m PR at Doug Max Invite and 200m PR at CSU Spank Blasing Invite.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL
Attended Whanganui Collegiate School...At 2021 NZ U20 Championships at Hawkes Bay, she won the 100m and finished second in the 200m, while also being a part of the championship 4x100m team...Ranked in top-5 U-18 women sprinters in the country...By a comfortable margin, Brunger was named 2020 Whanganui Athlete of the Year...At the 2020 New Zealand Championships, she took gold in the junior 100 and 200 races, while finishing runner-up in the 400m...In November of 2020, she recorded her first legal sub 12-second 100m with a time of 11.97 at a regional meet...She clocked a 54.63 400 that vaulted her to the top of the U-20 rankings and second in the opening rankings nationally in March of 2020...A part of the California Track and Field Tour - a three-week meet series organized annually for New Zealand athletes...Was awarded financial support for traveling to the States from New Zealand-based organization, the Mitre 10 Mega Wanganui Future Champions Trust...Also competed in swimming, cycling, netball, hockey and basketball...Daughter to Jodie and Nicholas.
