GAME
  • CSU scored its first points of the game with 1:23 left in the third quarter on a 15-yard run by RB Marvin Kinsey. Kinsey’s 15-yard rushing touchdown was the longest rushing touchdown for the Rams this season. The drive consisted of 11 plays for 78 yards and lasted 4:11.
  • Kinsey scored his second rushing touchdown of the night on a 10-yard rush with 10:31 left in the fourth quarter. The scoring drive was set up by a 47-yard pass from QB Collin Hill to WR Preston Williams.
  • CSU held Wyoming to just 3-of-12 on third-down conversion attempts.
  • Wyoming won the turnover battle 3-0 and scored 14 points off of its turnovers.
  • Tonight’s Border War Clash was the 109th in the history of the series. CSU leads the all-time series 57-47-5

QB Collin Hill
  • Made his first start of the season and finished 34-of-54 for a season-high 333 yards along with a rushing touchdown
    • His highest passing yardage total since he threw for 370 yards against Wyoming on Oct. 1, 2016
    • Career-high 34 completions
    • 47-yard pass to Preston Williams was the longest completion for Hill this season
    • First rushing touchdown of the season and second of his career
 
LB Josh Watson
  • Led the team with a career-high 17 tackles
    • Has led or tied for the team lead in tackles in every game this season
    • Now has 100 tackles on the season, his second consecutive campaign with at least 100 tackles (Career high is 109 in 2017)
    • His 336 career tackles are now tied for 9th all-time in CSU history with Kevin McLain (1974-75)
    • Sixth game this season with at least 10 tackles
    • Had 1.5 tackles for loss
 
WR Preston Williams
  • Had 10 catches for 126 yards
    • Fifth 100-yard receiving game this season and second in a row.
      • Is the seventh different Ram to have at least five 100-yard receiving outings in a single season.
    • Now has 71 receptions on the season, which ranks seventh on CSU’s single-season receptions list
    • Has had at least nine receptions in the past three games, and six times this season
 
S Jamal Hicks
  • Career high for tackles with 12
  • Also recorded an assisted tackle for loss and a QB hurry
 
RB Marvin Kinsey
  • Led the team with 24 rushing yards on 5 carries and scored two rushing touchdowns
    • Also had a career-high nine receptions for 47 yards
    • His 2 rushing TDs tied his career high (at UNLV, 10/22/16)
    • Now has 11 career rushing TDs
 
LB Cam’ron Carter
  • Had a career-high eight tackles.
 
WR Olabisi Johnson
  • Had 5 receptions for 56 yards to raise his season receptions total to a career-high 43. His previous career high was 41 (for 613) yards in 2017.
