GAME
  • CSU is now 14-22-2 all-time on Thanksgiving.
    • This was the Rams’ first game on Thanksgiving day since Nov. 23, 1978. CSU defeated Pacific on the road that day, 20-13.
    • This was the first meeting between CSU and Air Force on Thanksgiving.
    • This was the first meeting between two Mountain West programs on Thanksgiving.
  • CSU’s first scoring drive was a 10-play, 92-yard drive capped off by a 34-yard TD pass from Collin Hill to Preston Williams.
    • The drive cut into Air Force’s lead, making the score 14-6 in favor of the Falcons.
    • Williams had 68 receiving yards on the drive.
  • All three of the Rams’ touchdowns were on plays 30+ yards (all three were Preston Williams TD receptions)
    • Coming into today, the Rams had three offensive touchdown plays of the 30+ yards all year
    • Williams’ 58-yard TD pass with 0:26 to go in the first half tied for the longest TD-scoring play of the year.
      • Olabisi Johnson had a 58-yard TD reception vs. Hawai’i on Aug. 25
