2015-2016 (SENIOR): Finishing out her career as a Ram, Shepard continued to be a dominate swimmer for the team. As a senior leader Shepard competed in the 50, 100, and 200 Backstroke and the 200 IM. In those events she posted CSU's best times in both the 100 Backstroke and the 200 IM. She posted CSU's second-best time in the 200 backstroke...Shepard also competed on CSU's top squads in the 200 and 400 Medley Relay, which she helped set a new CSU record in both those events...At the Mountain West Championships Shepard came in sixth place in the 100 Backstroke and sixth place in the 50 Backstroke...In the 100 Backstroke she had the second best time in CSU's history at 53.89 in the preliminaries at the Mountain West Championships...Named All-Conference for the 100 Backstroke.
2014-15 (JUNIOR): Once again starred in the backstroke for the Rams, leading the team in both the 100 and 200 Backstroke events... Shepard also provided CSU's best time of the season in the 200 IM and led both the 200 and 400 Medley Relay squads... Placed 14th in the 100 Backstroke and 19th in the 200 Backstroke at the Mountain West Championships... Received Academic All-Conference recognition for the third-straight season.
2013-14 (SOPHOMORE): Was one of the Rams' strongest athletes throughout the season in the stroke events... Held the fastest times of the season in the 100 Breaststroke, 200 Breaststroke and 200 IM... Was also a part of the season's fastest 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams... At the 2014 Mountain West Championships, tied for fifth place in the 100 Breaststroke (55.17), earning All-Mountain West honors... Was twice named the Mountain West Women's Swimmer of the Week... Earned her team's Performance of the Year award for her meet against Northern Arizona (Nov. 9)... Shepard won all four of her events in the 152-148 come-from-behind victory... Earned Mountain West Academic All-Conference honors for the second time.
2012-13 (FRESHMAN): Was a strong performer in the backstroke events, finishing as the second-best performer on the team in the 100 Backstroke, only behind NCAA qualifier Breann Fuller... Swam a best time of 54.78 at the 2013 Mountain West Championships, good for a 10th-place finish and a time which ranks third among performers in school history... Recorded a time of 2:00.74 at the Championships in the 200 Backstroke (third on the team; 15th in the conference)... Also finished second on the team in the 200 IM (2:04.41; 19th at MW Championships)... Was part of several relay teams, including the school-record-breaking 200 Medley Relay team (1:41.17)... Earned Mountain West Academic All-Conference honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Is a 2012 graduate of Dripping Springs High School... Named the Texas State Athlete of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year in 2012... At the 2012 state championships, broke the state record in the 100 Backstroke and received All-America recognition... Was part of the all-state first team for the 100 Backstroke, 200 IM and the 200 Medley Relay... Also swam with West Austin Aquatics.
PERSONAL: Raised in Dripping Springs, Texas... Daughter of Jim and Becky Shepard... Has one brother, Ben, and one sister, Emily... Majoring in business administration.
