Season Stats: 2017-18 / 2016-17 / 2015-16 / 2014-15

2017-18 (SENIOR): 
Finished second for CSU in scoring at 71.70 strokes per round, including a pair of top-five placings and three top 10s, earning All-Mountain West honors for the first time in his career and was co-MVP for the Rams... Top finishes were a second at the season-opening Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational and a tie for fifth with and fellow Rams AJ Ott and Jake Staiano at the Mountain West Championship... For the year has 17 rounds of par or better and finished in the top 21 in six events, including top-15s in the nationally-renowned Oregon Duck Invitational and Western Intercollegiate this spring along with a tie for 14th at the NCAA Kissimmee Regional at 4-under 212... Just missed on his first collegiate title at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, finishing as runner-up at 9-under 207 with three rounds under par (68-70-69)... The 207 was a career low for 54 holes... Also had a ninth at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at 1-over 217... Helped the Rams to their fourth consecutive Ram Masters Invitational title with a 3-over 213, tying for 21st, making him the first CSU player ever to be a part of winning the same tournament four times in a player’s career... His average has him 11th on CSU’s single-season scoring list at 73.05 strokes per round (+1.54 versus par)... Earned the CSU career eagles record at the NCAA Regional, getting his 22nd on the final par-5 of the tournament.
 
2016-17 (JUNIOR): Played in all 11 tournaments and 33 rounds during the season, averaging 73.70 strokes per round… Had 11 rounds of par or better along with one top-15 and three top-25 placings… Led CSU in scoring at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational at 1-over 217… Posted a season-low 3-under 69 three times this year, including the first round of the Paintbrush Invitational and the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational and the second round of the Mountain West Championship... Also shot a 1-under 69 in the first round of the Ram Masters Invitational… His season low for 54 holes came at the Mountain West Championship, shooting an even-par 216 to tie for 20th... Won both the German Amateur and the Luxembourg Amateur following his junior year.
 
2015-16 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in all 12 tournaments and 34 rounds during the season, finishing second in scoring average at 72.32 strokes per round… Had 15 rounds of par or better and one top-five and three top-10 placings… Counted in 29 of 34 rounds played for the team score… Tied for second with a season-best 208 to help CSU win its own Ram Masters Invitational… Shot a season-low 4-under 66 in the second round as part of his effort… Tied for sixth at the Erin Hills Intercollegiate with a 2-under 214… Other top-10 finish was at Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational, a tie for seventh at 3-under 213 with all three rounds of par or better… Ranked in the top 20 nationally with seven eagles on the season as well as in the top 100 in birdies and par-5 scoring.
 
2014-15 (FRESHMAN): Competed in nine of 11 tournaments and 26 total rounds, including three tournaments as an individual competitor in his first season at Colorado State... Averaged 74.88 strokes per round with nine rounds of par or better... Carded four rounds in the 60s, including a career-best 68 in the final round of action at the John Burns Intercollegiate (Feb. 18-20)…Recorded his season-low 54-hole tournament total at CSU’s own Ram Masters Invitational, notching a 5-over 215, to tie for ninth place, a career-best finish… Playing as an individual, won the Bob Writz Invitational with a 1-under 143 (69-74)... Also earned a top-20 finish at the PING Cougar Classic by tying for 17th place with a three-round score of 216 (E), his best tournament score vs. par of the season…Tied for 22nd at the Mountain West Championship, finishing just outside of the top-20 with a 217 (+4), including a 69 in round 3, his fourth sub-70 round of the season.
 
Privatgymnasium St-Leon Rot: Competed in golf under head coach Ted Long at Privatgymnasium St-Leon Rot in Heidelberg, Germany, known as a developing ground for some of Germany’s top junior golfers...Also played soccer and ice hockey...Gained a wealth of experience as a member of the U18 German National Team in 2011 and 2012...Led his team to the 2012 German U18 Championship...Set records by shooting a 65 at Gleidingen Links and a 68 at Isernhagen TPC... Posted several impressive finishes while competing all over Europe...After finishing 15th at the 2011 German Boys Open, placed 12th in the event in 2012 and rose to a seventh-place finish in the 2013 event, and placed fifth at the 2013 German National Open...In 2011 he posted a second-place showing at the French Boys Championship, and in 2012 qualified for the match play rounds at the British Boys Championship.
 
Personal: Born Sept. 10, 1994 in Hannover, Germany...Son of Bettina and Thomas Oelfke...Has two older brothers, Alex and Konstantin, and one younger sister, Sophie...Graduated in May 2018 with a bachelor's in business administration...Chose Colorado State after considering Colorado, Minnesota and San Diego.
