Played in eight contests, including the New Mexico Bowl (Dec. 20)...Caught one pass on the year, for 10 yards...Sustained a knee injury late in fall camp and missed the first three games...Made his `08 debut at Cal (Sept. 27)...Caught his initial 2008 pass at No. 14 Utah (Oct. 18)...Called by coaches a solid blocker with a high-level of football intelligence.

2007 (Junior)
Saw action in all 12 games, with five starts, and caught four passes for 33 yards (8.2 avg.)...Played in the season[apos]s first two contests as a reserve tight end, then started Games 3-5 after Kory Sperry[apos]s season-ending knee injury; also started Games 11 and 12 after the team moved Mark Starr to tackle...In 34-28 loss vs. No. 10 Cal (Sept. 8), recorded his first career catch, a 15-yard reception on third-and-12; two plays later, the Rams scored a touchdown in a valiant fourth-quarter comeback attempt...Snagged a 3-yard pass at TCU (Sept. 29), and an 8-yard catch at UNLV (Oct. 20)...Returned to the starting lineup for win vs. Georgia Southern (Nov. 17) and caught one pass for 7 yards...Also started season finale, vs. Wyoming (Nov. 23).
