Christian Pace was hired in December of 2025 as the run game coordinator / offensive line coach on Jim Mora’s inaugural staff. Pace follows Mora to Fort Collins after spending the past four seasons at Connecticut.
He was the offensive line coach for the Huskies in 2025, working the previous two with the tight ends. In 2025, his group allowed just 1.25 sacks per game as the offensive produced a 3,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000-yard receiver. He began his time at UConn as an offensive analyst after spending five years at Lafayette College as an offensive line coach. He was there for seven seasons overall, the first two as the tight ends coach.
In his career, he has coached six all-conference performers and a Freshman All-American. Pace additionally spent time at Florida as a graduate assistant.
He played at Michigan, remaining at his alma mater as a student assistant with the offensive line from 2011-13, then with the running backs in 2014. He graduated with a degree in movement science in 2014, completing as master’s degree in sport management from Florida in 2017.
