Pat Welsh
Pat Welsh was hired in December of 2025 as the tight ends coach, coming to Colorado State from Miami (Ohio), where he served as the team’s offensive coordinator while also coaching running backs and tight ends in his time with the Red Hawks.

In the course of those three seasons, Welsh had 13 of his players earn All-MAC honors, including four first-team selections as his offenses consistently averaged 25 points per game. He began his run with the program in 2014, starting as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator.

His coaching career began with a graduate assistant role at Grand Valley State in 2010, moving to Whittenberg College the next season to coach quarterbacks. He then spent two seasons at Notre Dame as a graduate assistant before heading to Miami (Ohio).
