2018 (Senior): Played in 11 games and started nine, missing the season finale at Air Force (Nov. 22) because of injury ... other non-starts came at San Jose State (Oct. 6) and vs. New Mexico (Oct. 13) ... ranked fourth on the team with 48 tackles (18 solo), including 0.5 TFL, two interceptions, 5 passes defensed and one forced fumble ... voted by his teammates as a team captain for the season, along with RS-Sr. LB Josh Watson, RS-So. FB Adam Prentice and RS-So. QB Collin Hill ... preseason Phil Steele All-MW fourth team ... finished CSU career with 119 tackles (65 solo), 1.5 TFL, 4 INTs and 11 passes defensed.
  • Recorded career-high 12 tackles and added half a tackle-for-loss in season opener against Hawai'i (Aug. 25).
  • Made first interception of the season on first Arkansas possession of the Rams' home defeat of the SEC's Razorbacks (Sept. 8).
    • Following the interception, the Rams converted a 55-yard field goal by K Wyatt Bryan to take a 3-0 lead.
  • Notched his second interception of the season in win at San Jose State (Oct. 6)
  • Logged 8 tackles at Boise State (Oct. 19).

2017 (Junior): Started all 13 games, recording 71 tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, two interceptions, four pass breakups and two quarterback hurries... Ranked second on the team with 71 tackles and tied for second with two interceptions. Earned Academic All-Mountain West honors.
  • Tallied four tackles, one tackle for loss and one quarterback hurry in the win over Abilene Christian (Sept. 9).
  • Recorded six tackles and two pass breakups in the win at Utah State (Oct. 7).
  • Made seven tackles in the win over Nevada (Oct. 14).
  • Logged a tnen-career-high 11 tackles, including seven solos, against Air Force (Oct. 28).
  • Recorded nine tackles and picked off a pass in the fourth quarter against Boise State (Nov. 11).
  • Made six tackles and intercepted a pass against Marshall in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl (Dec. 16).
2015-16 (Utah): 
  • Walked on to the team in the fall of 2015 and was later placed on scholarship.
  • Played in eight games in 2016 with two starts (UCLA, Washington), making five appearances on defense.
  • Recorded 20 total tackles, 1.0 TFL, two interceptions, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
  • Named honorable mention Pac-12 All-Academic.
  • Played in the first three games of the 2015 season before suffering a season-ending injury.
2013-14 (College of San Mateo):
  • Spent two years at the College of San Mateo.
  • Did not play in 2014 after tearing his ACL two days before the first game.
  • Recorded 32 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breakups in 2013.
High School:
  • Is a 2013 graduate of Arroyo High School in San Leandro, Calif.
  • Named first-team All-HAAL defensive back his junior and senior seasons.
  • Also played quarterback and receiver in high school.
  • Recorded 36 tackles, three interceptions and four pass breakups, and passed for 225 yards and a touchdown as a senior in 2012.

Personal: Born Nov. 30, 1994... Parents are Dona Kennedy and Christia Fogal… Is the first in his family to attend college... Earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from Utah, and at Colorado State has pursued graduate degree in adult educational training.
