Aoki joined the Colorado State football staff in 2023 as an offensive graduate assistant. Prior to Colorado State, Aoki was a four-year member of the USC football program as a walk-on reserve quarterback and wide receiver.

He graduated in 2021 with his bachelor's degree in business administration before earning his master's in finance.
