Jake Vang came to Colorado State as part of Jay Novell's initial staff in January 2022 as Defensive Quality Control before moving to a Defensive Analyst.
Prior to Fort Collins, Vang spend two seasons at Michigan State as a defensive intern. Vang arrived in East Lansing in 2020 after spending seven years working for the Kansas State football program, including three years as a graduate assistant (2017-19) and four years as a student assistant (2013-16). Vang earned his bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from KSU in 2017 with a minor in leadership studies. He worked with the Wildcat linebackers during his three seasons as a defensive graduate assistant.
