Is a 2014 graduate of Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colo.
Three-time first-team All-Continental League selection (2011, 2012, 2013).
In his final high school season, rushed for 1,381 yards and 18 touchdowns while hauling in 21 receptions for 377 yards and 4 touchdowns.
As a junior in 2012 was the second-leading rusher in Colorado Class 5A, scampering for 1,732 yards and 17 rushing touchdowns.
Named All-Colorado honorable mention in 2012 and an All-Colorado offensive selection by 60 Strength and Fitness.
Holds the Douglas County single-game record with 448 rushing yards (17.2 average) and four scores in a 2012 victory over Highlands Ranch.
As a sophomore in 2011, rushed for 389 yards and nine touchdowns and caught 14 passes for 228 yards.
