Andrew Patterson enters his second year with the Rams after transferring from Lon Morris College prior to his junior campaign. Last season, Patterson earned eight starts for CSU and will be looked upon to provide quality depth to the CSU perimeter in 2005-06.
2004-05 JUNIOR SEASON
Patterson finished fourth on the team in three-point field goal percentage hitting at a 30 percent clip from long range. In CSU[apos]s win over Montana State, he led the team with a career-high 12 points including a 4-of-6 performance from three-point range. Patterson also paced the team with three assists in CSU[apos]s road loss to Wyoming and finished the year fifth on the team in assist/turnover ratio.
Patterson began his career as a Ram on a high note with 11 points in the season opener against Regis in Moby Arena and started the season hitting 4-of-7 three pointers in his first two games.
LON MORRIS COLLEGE
Patterson played for one season at Lon Morris College in Jacksonville, Texas. He was named to the all-conference team in 2004 after leading the squad to conference and regional junior titles and a berth in the National Junior College Tournament with a 21-6 record. Patterson averaged 13 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting at a 39 percent clip from three-point range and 75 percent from the free throw line. During his time in Jacksonville he was also named to the academic honor roll. Prior to coming to Lon Morris, he spent one year at Frank Phillips College in Borger, Texas.
HIGH SCHOOL
Andrew earned three varsity letters in basketball and two in baseball at Amarillo High School. He was named all-conference, all-district and all-region as a junior and senior. He led his team to a district title in 2002 and a semi-regional championship. He finished his prep career third on the all-time scoring list at AHS.
