Tony Pressley Jr., joined the Colorado State athletic department  as an athletic trainer in July 2021, having responsibility for the men’s basketball and men’s golf programs.

Prior to coming to Fort Collins, he spent the prior year at Wisconsin as an assistant athletic trainer, working with the football program. He spent from 2017-2020 in the Twin Cities, first spending two years with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves and then one year with Twin Cities Orthopedics as an outreach athletic trainer. He spent a summer with the NFL’s Chicago Bears in 2017 as well.

A native of Romulus, Mich., Pressley got his undergraduate degree in athletic training from Toledo in 2015, having spent almost three years as a student athletic trainer there. During that time, he also interned with the New England Patriots in the summer of 2014. He then obtained his master’s in recreation and sport management in 2017 from the University of Arkansas, where he served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer.
