2010 (Sophomore): Finished 11th in the high jump at the Tom Benich Track and Field Classic (April 3)...Recorded an eighth-place finish in the high jump at the Jack Christiansen Invite (May 8), clearing a height of 1.48 meters.
2009 (Freshman): Ashley had her best performance, a ninth-place finish, in the pentathlon (3,208) at the MWC indoor championships (Feb. 26).
High School: Ashley earned varsity letters in both track and tennis while attending Stillwater Area High School in Stillwater, Minn., where she was named all-conference and MVP on her tennis team. She was tennis team captain in 2007 and track team captain in 2008.
Personal: Ashley was born Oct. 2, 1989, to John and Evy Dace in Mission Viejo, Calif. She has a brother, J.D. Her father was a tennis player at the Naval Academy, and her uncle was a tennis player at the University of Florida. She is majoring in business administration.
