Chad Barlow

Chad Barlow joins the Colorado State track and field program for the 2020-21 season helping with the sprints. The Fort Collins native graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2006 prior to going to Oregon to continue his track career. He was a member of Oregon’s two-time national championship and record-setting distance medley relay team, while being a key performer for Oregon’s first NCAA Indoor title squad. Barlow was one of the Ducks’ top sprinters being a two-time scorer at the 2010 Pac-10 Championships to help Oregon win its fourth straight crown. Before that he was a three-time scorer at the 2009 league meet. In 2010, he was a NCAA Championships qualifier at 400 meters. His indoor mark at 400m capped at 47.80, while outdoor clocked at 46.79. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in sociology in 2010.
As a prep, he was a Colorado 5A state 400 meter championships runner-up and member of three state champion 4x400 meter relays.
Barlow is married with two kids and resides back in Fort Collins. He loves sports, readying and people. He is an interning pastor at a church in Fort Collins.
