2011 (Sophomore): Set a personal record in the weight throw at the Air Force Invitational (Feb. 22), with a toss of 55 feet, 11.25 inches...Earned a third-place finish in the discus throw at the Fum McGraw Triangular (April 24)), with a personal record toss of 156-4...Took fourth in the hammer throw at the Front Range championships (May 1), with a distance of 166-10...Came in 13th in the hammer throw at the MW outdoor championships (May 14).
2010 (Freshman): Earned all-conference honors in the discus throw after her second-place finish at the MWC championships (May 12)...Placed seventh in the discus throw at the Tom Benich Track and Field Classic (April 3)...Recorded a fifth-place finish in the discus throw at the University of Colorado Open (April 10) with a distance of 42.38 meters...Scored twice at the Jack Christiansen Invite (May 8) after finishing second in the discus throw and eighth in the hammer throw.
2009: Redshirted.
High School: Elizabeth was a varsity letterwinner in both track and softball while attending Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colo. She was named all-state in both the discus and the shot put, and she holds the school records in those events as well. She was also state champion in the shot put (once) and in the discus throw (three times).
Personal: Elizabeth was born March 29, 1990, to Tom and Michelle Johnson. She has two brothers, Jacob and Kyle. Her father played football while attending Adams State College. She is majoring in art.
