2011 (Freshman): Placed fourth in the 600-yard run at the Potts Indoor Invitational (Jan. 22)...Won the 400-meter dash at the Don Barrett Duals (Jan. 29), with a time of 48.58...Came in seventh in the 400-meter dash at the MW indoor championships (Feb. 26)...Earned a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash at the MW outdoor championships (May 14), clocking in at 47.18.

High School: Won state championships in the 400-meter race (48.30) and 300-meter race (44.63)...Ran a season-best time in the 110-meter hurdles (14.27).

Persoanl: Born Dec. 5, 1991, to Melissa and Brent Monson...Has five older sisters, Hannah (34), Meghan (32), Clara (31), Martha (28) and Karinne (23)...Majoring in health and exercise science.
