2014 (FRESHMAN): Competed in 19 sets for the Rams, averaging 1.16 kills and 0.79 blocks per set... Flourished during a start against San Jose State (11/19), recording a career-high eight kills on .462 hitting... Also added four blocks and a service ace on her first collegiate serve to total 11.0 points... Led all players with five kills in a three-set win vs. Utah State (10/25)... Also added a then-career-best five kills... Came in off the bench late in Set 1 and earned starts in the next two sets... Had four blocks in Set 2 alone, limiting Utah State to -.054 hitting... Notched her first career multi-kill match with two kills on .500 hitting (2-0-4) at Air Force (10/17)... Had two blocks and a kill in two sets against Fresno State (10/11)... Recorded her first career kill and blocks (two) against Florida A&M (9/5)... Made her collegiate debut against VCU (8/30), taking two swings.
2013 (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2013 season, using a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Is a 2013 graduate of Sachse High School... Led her team to district titles during her sophomore and junior seasons... Also helped the Mustangs to an Elite Eight appearance in the Texas state tournament as a senior... Named her team's Newcomer of the Year, as well as the best offensive player during her sophomore season... Earned her team's Mustang Award as a junior... Was a three-year letterwinner in volleyball... Also competed in basketball for three seasons, and ran track her freshman year.
PERSONAL: Born May 3, 1995, in Pascagoula, Miss. ... Raised in Rowlett, Texas... Daughter of James and Monica Bolden... Has one younger brother, Jaylon, and one younger sister, Jhayla... Intends to study business administration.
