Assistant Coach Brett Bogner was announced as the latest full-time addition to the Colorado State softball coaching staff in January of 2024.
Bogner first joined the Colorado State softball program in the fall of 2020 as a volunteer assistant and stayed in the role as a volunteer coach until the spring of 2024. During his time as a volunteer, he assisted in data analytics, video coordination while also coordinating the defense and assisting with hitting and base running strategies. This has continued to be his specialty through his promotion to assistant coach.

Bogner is a 2015 CSU graduate earning a bachelor’s degree in Applied Human Sciences, with a concentration in Sports Medicine. During his time as a student, Bogner was part of the Colorado State Club Baseball program where he served as president and tallied two NCBA World Series appearances. After graduation, he spent four years as an assistant coach with the club team, assisting in leading them to two additional NCBA World Series.
