Naya Shime

Colorado State volleyball announced the addition of Naya Shime as an Assistant Coach ahead of the 2025 volleyball season.
Naya joins the team for the season, in between her playing seasons with Major League Volleyball. As a member of the Orlando Valkyries, she was also the 13th overall draft pick in the PVF to the Grand Rapids Rise in 2024. She played in 24 sets or the Rise last season, totaling 92 kills and 67 digs.
Before going pro, she spent three seasons at the University of Wyoming before finishing her final two years at Southern Methodist University.
At SMU she was a AVCA Third-Team All-American after the 2024 season including a AVCA Southwest All-Region Team and First-Team All-ACC.
