Laird Leads After Day Two At MWC Championship

Sunriver, Ore. - Defending Mountain West champion Martin Laird leads the field after the second day of the Mountain West Conference championships in Sunriver, Ore.
Laird second round total of 66 puts him at 8-under-par for the tournament, three strokes ahead of second place.
The team remained in fourth place after posting a 288 on day two. Colorado State is only one stroke behind third place San Diego State.
Nolan Martin slipped in the standings after shooting a 75 to fall into a tie for 12th. Geoff Nuwash is in a tie for 23rd with a score of 148 and Brett Tobyne stands in a tie at 29th after shooting a two-day total of 151. Tommy Sharp rounds out the Ram lineup with a 152. He is in a tie for 32nd.
The Rams will tee off the final round of competition Saturday at 9:00 a.m. PT in Sunriver, Ore.
