President Yates Comments On Departure Of Director of Athletics

President Al Yates today released the following response to the departure of Director of Athletics Jeffrey Hathaway.
"Jeff has done an outstanding job at Colorado State University. It would be difficult for him not to take advantage of the opportunity to return to the University of Connecticut.
"He is a person of true integrity and always did what he thought was best for Colorado State University. He led CSU's athletics program to new heights.
"I am confident we will build upon that, and continue the growth and success that the program has enjoyed."
We would respond to queries that a national search will begin immediately, and with the success of the program, there will be no shortage of outstanding candidates.
