CSU Women's Golf In Eighth After Two Rounds

The Colorado State women?s golf team fired a 16-over-par 304 in the second round of the Las Vegas Founders Women?s Collegiate Showdown to move into eighth place on Tuesday with a two-round score of 609.
Ram Kristen Campos led the team in the second day with a one-over 73 to bring her score to 153 for the tournament, good for a tie for 30th. Teammate Margaret Garehime leads CSU after two rounds with a 150 including a three-over 75 on Tuesday putting her in a tie for 15th individually.
Senior Trisha Quick, who led Colorado State with a 73 on Monday, is in a tie for 30th overall with a 150 for two rounds. Lynette Duran and Chelsea Benton round out the scoring for the Rams with a 154 and 163, respectively.
UNLV?s Hwanhee Lee leads the tournament with a one-over 145 while the Rebels hold the team lead with a 12-over-par 588.
The event will conclude with the third round at the Anthem Country Club on Wednesday
