Drake Relays Continues To See Good Performances

The second day of the Drake Relays proved to be as eventful as the first for the Colorado State track & field team.
Senior Jeremy Graff began the day for the Rams in the shot put, where he placed 12th with a throw of 53-3.75. The men?s 4x1600 relay team consisting of sophomore Paul Michel, senior Bill Michel, freshman Ryan Kirkpatrick and junior Mike Nicks finished second with a time of 16:24.83. Senior John Woods then won his heat of the 100 meters in 10.45 and will compete in the finals tomorrow afternoon. Graff then completed the Rams competition for the day in the discus, finishing 16th with a throw of 164-11.
Several others will be in competition tomorrow at the Drake Relays, while the majority of the team will compete in the Jack Christiansen Invitational in Fort Collins.
